“It’s only terrorism if it doesn’t work. When it works, we call it a revolution.” Angry Fags by Topher Payne is a dark comedy that follows two gay friends whose response to homophobia escalates from frustration to violent revenge. Set in Atlanta, Georgia, the play interrogates morality, rage, and the increasingly blurred line between victim and perpetrator. Beginning in a newly moved-into apartment, the scenic elements transform throughout the play to reshape the stage and establish multiple locations.
